CASUAL CHICNESS? Erik crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the doorjamb. That phrase sure was popping up a lot lately. He was tempted to raise his hand and ask her to define the term just for fun, but changed his mind. He’d talk to her once she was off center stage.

She’d invaded his thoughts a lot since Saturday, in fact, too much. And that wasn’t a good thing because he had work to do, a clinic to plan, a coaching job to chase down… And he kept getting distracted by thoughts of kissing her and touching her and stripping her clothes off—

Not a good train of thought. He dragged his attention back to the podium and admired Suzanne’s ability to come up with something flattering to say no matter how ridiculously these women were dressed.

Another hand waved. “I’ve heard corsets are coming back. What do you think of that?”

“So much for women’s liberation,” he muttered.

At his words, the cute blond woman a few feet away from him glanced up and began to scratch her head like she had lice. He took a step away from her, and another, then went out into the hall to wait for the program to end.
